Product Description
The X-Direct SDLC emulates an IBM 3174 cluster controller. The
hardware provides a direct connection from a UNIX workstation's
bus to the SDLC network via an RS-232, RS-530 or V.35 interface.
The UNIX server supports both TN3270 and TN3270E clients.
- Supports full duplex and multi-drop lines
- Can achieve up to T1 speeds
- Provides a TCP/IP connection for X-Direct TN3270, X-Direct
TN3270E as well as other TN3270 and TN3270E clients.

- Runs on all major UNIX platforms and operating systems
including Sun, DEC, HP, SGI, RS6000 as well as PC based UNIX platforms
such as SCO, Solaris X86 and Unixware
- Emulates PU2
- Supports up to 7 PU's per unit
- Each PU can run up to 253 LU sessions
- Printer support for LU1 and LU3 type printers (3287 printer
emulators) - Output may be directed to a local printer, a printer
on the network, a file or to standard output
